• CENTER: Kyle Turris, OTT, $6,700
  • Detriot simply cannot stop the puck. Big game for the Senators, expect Turris to step it up. Start Turris with confidence.

• WINGER: Filip Forsberg, NSH, $5,200
  • NSH welcomes a tired VAN team. In two games against the Canucks this year, Forsberg has 4 points (3 G, 1 A) and 12 shots on goal, for an average of 8.8 FPTS! FAVORITE PLAY TONIGHT.

• WINGER: Alexander Ovechkin, WSH, $9,300
  • Simply THE BEST Fantasy Player in ANY sport. OVI will generate plenty of FPTS for owners against the Hurricanes. Backstrom/OVI stack is a great option.

• WINGER: Mark Stone, OTT, $4,400
  • Turris’ line mate is also having a great year, 53 points in 73 games. Like the STACK against a porous DET net minder.

• DEFENSE: Seth Jones, NSH, $3,300
  • Sharing blue line duties with Roman Josi. Tons of UPSIDE here.

• DEFENSE: Anton Stralman, TB, $3,400
  • Hedman is DTD so Stralman needs to step up. Love the VALUE play here against Toronto.

• GOALIE: Braden Holtby, WSH, $8,300
  • Cannot see the Capitals losing to Carolina at Home. Holtby is as solid as they come with a reasonable price tag.

• UTILITY: Brad Marchand, BOS, $4,300
  • Although it pains me to say this as a Habs fan, the Bruins WILL beat the Panthers. The B’s WILL make the playoffs. Marchy steps up in BIG games. He also has a knack for sniping the puck past Luongo. Expect the nose to put the biscuit in the basket against the Panthers.

  • The Coyotes give up a BUNCH of shots. They welcome Buffalo tonight. Smith should be able to get the W, 25-30 saves. Nice return for under $8K spent on a goalie.

• UTILITY: Patrick Eaves, DAL, $4,500
  • Tremendous UPSIDE. Eaves is the line mate of Seguin and Benn on the explosive DAL first line. Tonight’s tilt against CGY should be high scoring. CHEAP exposure to a high powered attack, DAL will rip off a BUNCH of shots on goal. Odds of Eaves finding himself on the score sheet tonight are very HIGH. Plug him in your lineup!

  • Going BIG with the Penguins tonight. Pittsburgh is without Letang after he suffering a concussion. Players are going to need to step up in a big way. In comes San Jose who has mailed the season in. The Sharks play a very open, fast paced style of hockey and their goaltending isn’t very good. Perfect Penguin stack time!

• CENTER: Evgeni Malkin, PIT, $8,000
  • Geno is a BEAST. He is back and healthy. In his first game back from injury against the Coyotes, Malkin garnered 2 apples and 5 shots on goal for 7 FPTS. San Jose will get burned by Geno tonight.

• WINGER: Gustav Nyquist, DET, $4,500
  • Finally out of his slump, Nyquist is a dangerous threat for the Islanders whose PK is ranked 26th in the league. WATCH OUT for Gustav in this high scoring affair.

• WINGER: Jakob Silfverberg, ANH, $4,000
  • Silfverberg will get AT LEAST 4 shots on goal tonight. Last time against the Devils, he scored 2 G on 4 shots, totaling 8 FPTS. See tons of potential for JS tonight.

• WINGER: Daniel Winnik, PIT, $3,300
  • Scrappy forward sharing a line with Crosby. This could be money well spent.

• DEFENSE: Nick Leddy, NYI, $3,200
  • Like the value Leddy could bring tonight against a Red Wings team that has HORRIBLE goaltending. He is a first line defensemen paired with Boychuk. Looking for an assist out of Leddy tonight.

• DEFENSE: Derrick Pouliot, PIT, $2,500
  • Time to put his big boy pants on! No Letang tonight with a concussion, so this rookie needs to step up. For the minimum price, Pouliot has tremendous upside.

• GOALIE: Marc-Andre Fleury, PIT, $8,500
  • Love the matchup at home. Look for Fleury to face plenty of shots, expect to see 40 saves. The Penguins should be able to score a bunch on SJ. Looking for a very generous ROI from Flower.

• UTILITY: Kyle Turris, OTT, $7,000
  • Turris has been an incredibly consistent fantasy hockey player. Last night, Turris potted a PP goal and an even strength apple in an overtime loss to the LEAFS, scoring 6.5 FPTS. The Senators have a bad taste in their mouth. They welcome the Panthers tonight in Ottawa. In three games played against Florida, Turris has scored 4 points (1G, 3A) for an average of 4.5 FPTS.

No NBA tonight, NO PROBLEM! There is huge eleven game slate in the NHL featuring some fantastic matchups. LET’S MAKE SOME MONEY! Below is the DFSheet DraftKings NHL $14K Wrist Shot GPP lineup:

• CENTER: Brandon Pirri, FLA, $5,400
  • Bjugstad remains DTD, Pirri has been stepping up in a big way. He has scored 15 goals in 21 games, 5 of them being in the last 6 contests. FLA needs to win tonight to keep their playoff hopes alive. Facing a crap Toronto team, Pirri and the Panthers are going to take ALL the Leafs lunch money!

• CENTER: Henrik Zetterberg, DET, $6,400
  • San Jose gives up SO MANY goals! Stick a fork in them, they are done! Without exaggeration, expect Zetterberg and the Wings to put up 5+ on Niemi. Anticipate a JUICY ROI with Henrik in the GPP lineup.

• WINGER: Jonathan Huberdeau, FLA, $4,700
  • Same idea as Pirri. Hubs rips shots night in and night out. Over the course of the season, FLA has squared off against Toronto three times. Huberdeau has tallied an average of 3.7 FPPG (1 G, 2 Apples, 7 SOG). For his price, one has got to love his upside against the Toronto Tank job! Take advantage and roster Panthers players like Pirri and Huberdeau.

• WINGER: Nikita Kucherov, TB, $4,600
  • Love the price, the matchup against NSH at home and the STACK with Palat. Last time TB squared off against NSH, Kucherov tallied 5 FPTS (1 G, 4 SOG).

• WINGER: Ondrej Palat, TB, $5,700
  • Palat is the focal point for the TB second line. He has ten points in the last seven games, nine of these points being assists. Practically the Johnny Appleseed of the NHL! Apples for everyone TONIGHT!

• DEFENSE: Aaron Ekblad, FLA, $3,800
  • Ekblad is having a great rookie season scoring 35 points. Anticipate the 19 year old to add to his scoring tally tonight in Toronto.

• DEFENSE: Marek Zidlicky, DET, $3,900
  • San Jose’s PK is garbage! Niemi cannot stop a beach ball. Looking for Detroit goals in a BIG way. Zidlicky has 17 power play points this season. Love the upside here.

• GOALIE: Roberto Luongo, FLA, $7,800
  • Big Lu has a great opportunity to redeem himself against the Leafs. The price is right, the Leafs suck and FLA needs to win. Roberto is definitely in the lineup tonight!

• UTILITY: Rick Nash, NYR, $7,600
  • What a bargain! Still cannot believe Nash is ONLY priced at $7,600. Rick has been struggling as of late but this price tag is too good to pass up. It is not often one can roster a 40 goal scorer for under $8K. BIG game in Ottawa tonight, expect Nash to be heavily involved in the NYR attack.

Awesome eight game slate tonight in the NHL. DFSheet optimal GPP lineup for March 24:

• CENTER: Tyler Johnson, TB, $5,100
  • Tampa does not lose at home to divisional opponents. TJ leads his team in points this season. The Center for TB’s best line, expect to see plenty of action tonight with Palat and Kucherov.

• CENTER: Derek Stepan, NYR, $5,300
  • Stanley Cup rematch at MSG. Rangers have been hot lately. Expect this trend to continue tonight against the Kings. Stepan and Nash stack to the BANK!

• WINGER: Justin Abdelkader, DET, $4,400
  • Trusty, gritty wing player paired with Zetterberg on the first line. DET welcomes Arizona to their rink, owners should welcome the Abdelkader/Zetterberg stack into their GPP lineups tonight.

• WINGER: Rick Nash, NYR, $7,600
  • Awesome, reliable Fantasy Hockey player. Nash is fun to watch, almost as much fun as watching him tally fantasy points. Stepan/Nash stack tonight against LA. Playoff hockey atmosphere, doesn’t get much better.

• WINGER: Ondrej Palat, TB, $5,900
  • Palat does it all! Love the pairing with TJ  tonight against a weaker FLA second line.

• DEFENSE: Niklas Kronwall, DET, $3,900
  • Cheap, reliable defense option paired with the Zetterberg/Abdelkader stack. Will contribute tonight against a WEAK Coyotes squad.

 SYKE!! Wis is on the DUCKS!!!

• DEFENSE: James Wisniewski, ANH, $4,300
  • REVENGE GAME ALERT. Wis will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Fully expect him to play 20+ minutes and log plenty of PP time.

• GOALIE: Andrei Vasilevskiy, TB, $6,900
  • CHEAP! Abdrei has played well this season: 6-4-1 record with a 2.35 GAA and a .920 save percentage. Has it been mentioned that TB does NOT lose at Home to divisional opponents? START HIM. *Much better option than Howard BTW. (Always get BURNED by Howard, cannot be trusted).

• UTILITY: Henrik Zetterberg, DET, $6,500
  • He is THE Man. He should have fun on the first line against Arizona at Home. MUST START.

The team combined for 19.7 FPTS. Few bright spots were Jacob Markstrom (7.2 FPTS), Tyler Johnson (3.5 FPTS) and Ryan McDonagh (3.5 FPTS).

On to tonight where the NHL slate is very interesting. There are good matchups that can be exploited to benefit a GPP roster. Leaning Home team heavy for tonight except for Minnesota on the Road in Toronto. Here is the DFSheet DraftKings $12K Wrist Shot GPP lineup for March 23:

• CENTER: Mikael Granlund, MIN, $3,900
  • Anytime a 1st line Center is priced under $4K, that player should definitely be considered on your GPP roster. Granlund has scored 3 points in the last two games. His line mates are Parise and Pominville. Tonight, Granlund and the Wild face a HORRIBLE Maple Leafs team. Start Granlund with confidence in knowing that he will extend his point streak.

• CENTER: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, EDM, $8,000
  • NUGE wins DFS money for owners, that is the BOTTOM LINE. He has tallied 14 points in the last seven games. If that isn’t appealing production, I do not know what is. In two games against WPG this year, RNH has racked up 2 goals. Look for the NUGE on the score sheet tonight.

• WINGER: Mike Hoffman, OTT, $4,200
  • Hoffman has been held off the score sheet ONLY twice the past 13 games. He has 25 Goals and 18 Assists so far this season. With Milan Michalek DTD, look for Hoffman’s minutes to increase. Anticipate a productive night for Mike Hoffman against the Sharks.

• WINGER: Jason Pominville, NIN, $4,900
  • This might be the lowest price for Pominville this season. He is a consistent point producer who shares a line with Parise and gets power play minutes. Look for Pominville to contribute against a weak Leafs squad.

• WINGER: Benoit Pouliot, EDM, $4,500
  • He is on a nice 5 game point streak and he shares a line with Eberle and the NUGE. The price is right and paired with RNH, I like the stack potential here. I am looking for an assist or two from Pouliot tonight.

• DEFENSE: Alex Goligoski, DAL, $4,800
  • This puck moving defensemen is coming off a two point game against the Blackhawks. He is on the ice of at least 23 minutes per game. The Stars welcome Buffalo tonight. Goligoski should put up a point against this weak Sabres squad.

• DEFENSE: Marco Scandella, MIN, $3,300
  • This will be Scandella’s second game back from injury. Last game he played 19 minutes. He is a great VALUE play tonight against the Leafs. Marco will be rippin’ shots from the blue line!

• GOALIE: Cory Schneider, NJD, $8,800
  • This is a GREAT play for GPP, expect a low ownership rate.The Kings have not been able to score as of late and they fly to Jersey. Plenty of shots will be had by LA. Vegas has the game posted as O/U 4 1/2 point, low scoring contest. Best BELIEVE Schneider stands on his head. Would not be surprised if the Devils win this match thanks to Schneider.

• UTILITY: Kyle Turris, OTT, $7,600
  • Not much to say here. Riding the HOT hand with Turris. Love the matchup against the Sharks at Home. For under $7,600, expect a solid ROI as a Turris investor.

DFSheet DraftKings NHL GPP Lineup for March 22

This lineup is heavily saturated with Tampa and Boston skaters. This game is make or break for the Bruins. It will be their second game in as many nights. Tampa plays lights out at home. Anticipate this match to be the highest scoring of the Sunday slate.

Here is the DFSheet DraftKings $9K Wrist Shot GPP lineup for March 22:

• CENTER: Steven Stamkos, TB, $9,200
  • Stammer has 4 points in the last three games. In two games against the Bruins this year, he has 3 goals. Expect more points tonight. Stamkos, MUST START.

• CENTER: Tyler Johnson, TB, $6,900
  • TJ has been going through a “slump” relative to his consistent production this year. He is currently on his longest scoreless streak for the season, 4 games. That is remarkable! TJ plays a vital role in Tampa’s 2nd line, he gets shots on goal and he is leading the team in scoring. Expect to see Johnson on the score sheet tonight.

• WINGER: Loui Eriksson, BOS, $4,400
  • The Eriksson/Soderberg connection always performs when needed the most. Tonight is their time to shine. The gritty/finesse combo has been clicking this year. Expect the Swedes to help the Bruins offense in a big way.

• WINGER: Alex Killorn, TB, $3,800
  • Back to back games scoring for Stamkos’ line mate. Chances are high Killorn continues this streak against the tired legs of the Bruins. Big fan of this stack option tonight.

• WINGER: Nikita Kucherov, TB, $4,900
  • One of the best two way players in the league is on pace for a 65 point season. TJ and Kucherov will be making plays tonight. Love this stack option for this price as well.

• DEFENSE: Torey Krug, BOS, $5,000
  • No DOUGIE. Krug is a MUST START tonight. This kid plays with tons of heart and grit. He will need to step up in a big way for the Bruins. Expect to see moments of brilliance from this guy on the blue line in a very competitive game.

• DEFENSE: Ryan McDonagh, NYR, $4,900
  • Rangers play at home against the Ducks. The boys in blue will have to do their best to snuff out the potent Anaheim attack. Bet on the Captain to dictate the Rangers play. Tonight’s game will have a playoff atmosphere, a setting in which McDonagh typically thrives.

• GOALIE: Jacob Markstrom, VAN, $6,700
  • “One must risk it for the biscuit.” Firm believer in this philosophy. Why not?! Markstrom faces a HORRIBLE Coyotes squad. Taking a flyer on this young fella to get the W on the road. The price is RIGHT!

• UTILITY: Carl Soderberg, BOS, $4,200
  • Really like how he plays the game. If the Bruins are to win in Tampa, they need to play “Bruins style hockey”, which Soderberg brings to the ice on a routine basis. He and Loui should see around 20 MPG each, creating plenty of scoring opportunities for each other.

DFSheet DraftKings NHL GPP Lineup for March 21

BIG games tonight with playoff implications. It should be very exciting! Here is my DraftKings NHL $11K WRIST SHOT lineup:

• CENTER: Patrice Bergeron
  • Bruins have their backs to the wall. This is a MUST win game. Who better to throw your money on than Patrice Bergeron? The man is a WARRIOR. For $6200, I am very confident Patrice shows up to play. Expect to see his name on the score sheet against FLA.

• CENTER: Kyle Turris
  • Ride the HOT HAND! Turris put up a great performance against BOS at home on 3/19. OTT welcomes TOR tonight for what should be a BLOWOUT. Turris will be a major factor for the OTT offense. For $6100, expect a decent ROI.

• WINGER: Jamie Benn
  • Benn is a BEAST! He has 4 points in 4 meetings against CHI this year. He is an elite option that is well priced, $7800. I a low draft % for Benn as well, which could help in a major way tonight.

• WINGER: Mark Stone
  • Stoney has been clicking with Turris. He is a great stack option for $4500. I see him having a ROCK SOLID game against TOR tonight.

• WINGER: Brad Marchand
  • Hey, it is Patrice Bergeron’s best buddy! Marchy completes tonight’s best stack option. BIG game against FLA on the road, count on Marchy to step up in a big way with his fellow line mate. Last time these two teams squared off, Brad registered a goal and an assist with 5 SOG. This sniper likes to put pucks past Luongo. I expect him to put the puck top shelf where Momma keeps the cookies. Stack Patrice and Marchand!

• DEFENSE: Cody Ceci
  • The kid is getting minutes. He will let few pucks fly tonight against TOR. I expect to see Ceci register a point tonight. For $3100, he is my VALUE buy tonight.

• DEFENSE: Matt Niskanen
  • Solid D man who finds himself on the PP unit occasionally. For $3900, I am all for it! Big game against WPG, Niskanen will see 25+ TOI. Roll the dice for his price!

• GOALIE: Jaroslav Halak
  • I am rolling with Halak against NJ for $7800. I typically do not like betting on goalies who are playing on the road. But, NYI needs to snap out of their poor play. Tonight’s game against NJD should find Jaro and NYI in the Win column. Halak is another VALUE play I expect to pay off.

• UTILITY: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
  • RNH will see 20+ TOI against a PHI team that really doesn’t play well on the road. Last time these two played, the NUGE scored a goal. I expect the same outcome tonight. For his price of $6100, he will bring in a nice ROI.
